Bahzee Bet - Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FaridsFormula LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use Bahzee Bet ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data needed to run the App:

  • Account data - email address, username, authentication provider (Apple, Google, or email/password)
  • Gameplay data - blackjack hands, roulette spins, bankroll history, Casino IQ, badges, strategies you create, comments you post
  • Device metadata - iOS version, device model, locale, approximate region (from your IP/locale, not GPS)
  • Diagnostic data - crash reports, anonymous usage analytics (if you have enabled them in Settings)

We do NOT collect: precise GPS location, contacts, photos, health data, financial account numbers, or any data that is not directly used by the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to:

  • Create and authenticate your account
  • Save your gameplay progress and sync it across devices
  • Show you leaderboards and community strategies
  • Send account-related emails (verification, password reset, important updates)
  • Improve the App through aggregated, anonymized analytics
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT use your data to serve third-party ads or build cross-app tracking profiles.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information (your name, email, account identifiers, or any data that individually identifies you). We share data only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers - Firebase (Google Cloud) hosts our database and authentication. They are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal compliance - if required by subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request.
  • Business transfer - if FaridsFormula LLC is acquired or merged, your data may transfer as part of the business.
  • Public content - strategies you publish, comments you post, and usernames are visible to other users. Do not publish anything you do not want public.
  • Global Leaderboard - once you have played 50 or more total hands and spins combined, your username and aggregate gameplay statistics appear on the global leaderboard visible to all users. Public leaderboard fields are: Bahzee Score, skill tier, total plays, cross-game win rate, biggest single win, favorite game, net profit or loss, total bankroll top-ups, display badges you have selected, and times at the #1 spot. No timestamps, session times, or behavioral patterns are shared. You can opt out at any time through Settings > Privacy or Lobby > Privacy & Data ("Show me on the global leaderboard"); turning it off immediately removes your leaderboard entry.
  • Aggregated research data - we may share or license aggregated, anonymized gameplay statistics (for example: average bet sizes, game-preference distributions, decision-timing patterns, session-level behavioral aggregates, strategy adherence scores) with academic researchers, casino industry operators, gaming regulators, and responsible-gambling research programs for research, product development, and commercial purposes. Before any data leaves our systems it is stripped of all personal identifiers (your name, email, Firebase user ID, and device identifiers) and aggregated so that no individual user is identifiable. You can opt out at any time through Settings > Privacy or Lobby > Privacy & Data ("Share anonymized gameplay data for research"); the opt-out is enforced on our servers and excludes your gameplay from all future research exports. This toggle is also our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We use Firebase App Check to verify requests come from legitimate installs of the App. Authentication uses secure token-based sessions.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for backup, audit, and legal compliance:

  • Active accounts - indefinitely, while you use the App
  • Deleted accounts - local stats are wiped immediately; backup snapshots are retained for up to 30 days to support recovery during the grace period; audit logs are kept for up to 1 year for compliance
  • Aggregated research data - anonymized gameplay statistics (with all personal identifiers removed) may be retained and shared indefinitely for research, product improvement, and commercial research partnerships. If you opt out via Settings > Privacy or Lobby > Privacy & Data, your gameplay is excluded from all future research exports going forward.

7. Account Deletion and Grace Period

You can delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. When you delete:

  • Your local gameplay stats are wiped immediately
  • Your account enters a 7-day grace period during which you can restore it by signing back in
  • After 7 days, your account is permanently removed from our active systems
  • Published strategies and comments are anonymized (not deleted) to preserve the community - if you want them removed, delete them individually before deleting your account
  • Backup snapshots are retained for up to 30 days after permanent deletion to support legitimate recovery requests

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / CPRA)

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, California, or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access - request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to correct - ask us to fix inaccurate data
  • Right to delete - ask us to delete your account and data (the in-app Delete Account flow satisfies this)
  • Right to portability - receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to object - tell us to stop processing your data for certain purposes
  • Right to withdraw consent - opt out of analytics or marketing at any time through Settings

California residents: we do NOT sell your personal information (your name, email, account identifiers, or any individually identifying data) as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We may share aggregated, anonymized gameplay data with research and commercial partners as described in Section 4. You can opt out of this sharing at any time via Settings > Privacy or Lobby > Privacy & Data using the "Share anonymized gameplay data for research" toggle - this is our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control under the CCPA/CPRA.

9. Children's Privacy

Bahzee Bet is not intended for users under 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact Farid@faridsformula.com and we will delete it immediately.

10. Email Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive account-related emails (verification, password reset, critical updates). You may also receive occasional marketing emails about new features, sponsors, or app news - you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time through Settings or the unsubscribe link in the email. Account-related emails cannot be unsubscribed while your account is active.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses these third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud) - authentication, database, analytics, push notifications
  • Apple Sign-In - for users who sign in with Apple ID
  • Google Sign-In - for users who sign in with Google

When you use a third-party sign-in, the provider shares limited account info (email, name) with us. We do not receive your password or payment information.

12. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies. We do not use third-party ad networks, cross-app tracking SDKs, or device fingerprinting. Firebase Analytics (if enabled) uses an anonymous install ID that cannot be linked to your identity.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or via email. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
